b Safe is an app that helps young drivers keep their new found independence and privacy but also gives parents peace of mind that their child is driving in a safe manner. The app will watch for high speed, heavy braking, and heavy acceleration events and capture them for the family to discuss and learn from.

b Safe works even if your child is riding along with their friends.

b Safe only captures a location when a high speed, a heavy deceleration, or a heavy acceleration event occurs giving the young driver their privacy they want while driving safely.

Evaluate your own driving by looking at the Events tab to see where you tend to trigger events.

b Safe has an "Alert Now!" button which will send an immediate push notification to their "subscribers" informing them that they need help immediately.

b Safe will also send an immediate notification if there is a significant deceleration event (i.e. car crash).

By subscribing to your child, a parent can see her/his online status, battery charge level and a list of each childs events. If a certain event requires, the parent can send an acknowledgement notification to the child informing them that they are aware that something just happened.

b Safe does have continuous use of GPS running in the background which can dramatically decrease battery life. We will do our best to ensure that the consumption is as small as possible and will continue to make it better going forward.
